Every wedding is unique and I’m passionate about capturing distinctive memories that you will enjoy for a lifetime. I am a reportage style wedding photographer based in Dorset, South West. I work unobtrusively, letting the day unfold naturally. My style of photography really shines when capturing natural emotion and weddings are extraordinary occasions where people relax and have fun. Caught up in the excitement most people forget I even have a camera and of course that’s when personality radiates through.
I pride myself on stylish, contemporary photography full of warmth and personality. I capture atmospheres, people and details with a professional eye making sure that you have an album full of the very best memories. I like to think that great photography should be available to everyone who appreciates it. My pricing is competitive for the level of commitment, skill and time I will put into making sure you have the very best.

The half day option is flexible. I can be there from the wedding morning preparation to post ceremony celebration or from the moment guests arrive at the ceremony to the first dance.
The full day option ensures I will be there from morning preparations with the Bride to the first dance and everything inbetween. This option is all encompassing, guaranteeing that you will have the complete story.
The tailor made option is a blank canvas with a structure that works for you. Not all weddings are structured in the same way and this gives you the option to be creative.

The Wedding Morning: Before the wedding I capture the exuberance as the Bride gets ready for the day ahead. This is an exciting time and I pay attention to the details that have taken months of preparation. I then go to and find the groom, ushers and guests, taking images as they wait for the bride to arrive.
The Ceremony: During the ceremony I work quietly with great care to ensure that i do not distract the service. I have lots of experience working with low light, i do not use flash during the proceedings and i am happy to follow venue guidelines. After the ceremony i photograph the bride and groom signing the register and the excitement as they leave the venue. I always scout the venue before weddings, keeping an open mind for new perspectives, allowing me to work quickly and effectively on the day.
The Reception: The reception provides a great opportunity to get a group shot or any other more formal images that you may require. Many brides like to take time out for a short stroll with the groom, resulting in wonderful relaxed images of the first moments of married life. Other brides are keen to forget the camera is there and simply want to enjoy their day; this is also great for a reportage style photographer. I can simply fade into the background getting images from behind the scenes. I will stay capturing everything from speeches to the cutting of the cake until 9pm or after the first dance.
What you can expect
Pre-wedding planning: A discussion where we will talk through the details of the day, I’m accommodating and keen to hear your ideas and inspiration.
Pre wedding exploration: I will scout all locations so we can get the most out of the surroundings. It’s especially important if you are keen to have formal photographs as it will save time on the day.
The confidence of using a professional: I am switched on, experienced and I won’t let you down. You can relax, enjoy the day and have 100% confidence that you will return from your honeymoon to stunning images.
Editing and post production of all images: I guarantee that all of my photographs will have the refinement that you expect.
DVDs containing all photos as TIFF files: High quality images (35-45mb per file) that enable you to print large images such as canvasses and poster size prints to an exceptionally high standard. You will have the confidence to print your photographs as large as your imagination.
DVD containing all photos as JPEGs: High quality, accessible images that you can use for the majority of your printing needs, including a personalised wedding album or individual prints for friends and family.
DVD containing low resolution images: You can easily browse through your images on a computer or TV slideshow - perhaps you could upload your favourites to social media sites to share with friends online.
DVDs Arival time: A disk full of images will arrive at your home address within two weeks of your wedding day; if you choose to have an album produced it will be made once you have chosen your images.
Web article: After your wedding i will write an article on my website with a selection of photographs that tell the story of your day. Friends and family can get a sneak preview of your images and have the opportunity to leave comments. Additionally this offers guidance when selecting images for your album
Travel: The price includes all my travel costs to and from venues.
... and of course an Unlimited Usage Licence so you have the freedom to printout as many images as often as you like, when you like!
The album
To give your images the finish they deserve I have teamed up with a thoroughly modern company, to offer a range of the highest quality albums. Folio Album understand that albums are to be held and looked at time and time again, their craftsmanship guarantees that they will last a lifetime and beyond.
The albums are hand bound in a choice of leathers in a range of colours which can be padded or unpadded. The Contemporary Leather range is strong but tactile and comes in Ebony, Ivory, Pillar Box, Plum, Nut Brown and Jade. The Vintage Leather range is more of a soft touch, available in Berry, Chocolate, Rust and Toffee.
Folio Album use a combination of traditional methods and the latest techniques to print onto the highest quality paper. This ensures immaculate, pin sharp images that will stand the test of time. You can choose between Art White - 240gsm high white paper with an ultra matte finish and Art Cotton - 200gsm 100% cotton rag, acid free, pH-neutral paper with a smooth finish. Either way you will get high definition images with pure clarity, they will not crack or discolour.
The album is made in Yorkshire using as many local suppliers as possible and the paper is bough from sustainable sources. Your album will arrive in a sleeve made from natural unbleached cotton that has been washed in spring water and placed in a keepsake box made from recycled materials.
